I am so excited that you want to become engaged in understanding and making our community better! Our goals include
- Making sure that the information being shared here is as accurate as possible, and so we will commit to quickly correct any inaccuracies that you discover. We will also do our best to suggest corrections to any posts we believe that are in error, and removing posts when clearly inaccurate posts are not modified
- Keeping the debate and discussion civil, and focused on issues not personalities. We recognize that people are passionate about many of these topics, and so reserve the right to delete posts or modify any content that might be disparaging. At the same time, we recognize the damage done when inaccurate claims are repeated and when individuals refuse to correct the record. We may therefore label such actions with terms that might be viewed as disparaging (for example, describing such claims as false or misleading) but which we contend are fair and accurate.
- Keeping anonymous internet trolls far away!! We want members who are ready to stand behind what they say, and so we will require that forum members use their real names to identify themselves
- Making sure this forum is for Kennett residents and by Kennett residents. We will send an email to each new member to ask for your address so that we can be sure that you live in Kennett Township or the Borough of Kennett Square
- Of course, keep posts relevant to the forum topic, and no spamming!
